Ocean Alley has truly emerged as one of Australia’s most successful musical exports. Across four albums to date, the six-piece – Baden Donegal (vocals), Angus Goodwin (guitar), Lach Galbraith (keys/vocals), Mitch Galbraith (guitar), Tom O’Brien (drums) and Nic Blom (bass) – have inspired audiences around the world with their unmistakable sound.
Their catalogue has surpassed a billion streams, with ten singles certified Gold or higher across Australia, New Zealand and the US. Their breakout hit “Confidence” topped triple j’s Hottest 100 in 2018, went 6x Platinum in Australia, and charted internationally – including on the US Billboard Chart, the UK Independent Singles Breakers Chart and New Zealand’s Top 40.
September 2025 saw the band release their fifth studio album ‘Love Balloon’. The record takes listeners on a journey through life and love in all its complexity, anchored by moments of light, vulnerability and connection. The record landed at #1 on the ARIA AUS Album Charts and #3 overall, the band’s 3rd consecutive Top 3 album.
The band have sold over 200,000 tickets globally since 2023, with more than 100,000 tickets in Australia, plus over 100,000 tickets across the UK, Europe, North America and New Zealand. Having played iconic Australian festivals such as Splendour In The Grass, Spilt Milk, Bluesfest, Ability Fest and more whilst also having performed at renowned international festivals; Sziget (HUN), Lollapalooza (US), Austin City Limits (US), Bottlerock (US), Reading & Leeds (UK), Electric Avenue (NZ) and more, the band continues to soar higher than ever — a colourful evolution in sound and performance that’s resonating around the world.
